- In a panel discussion titled “Unlocking the Data Goldmine: Using Technology to Safely Leverage Company Data,” speakers delved into the challenges and opportunities in data management and cybersecurity. The panel emphasized the importance of ethical data practices and cybersecurity measures in harnessing the potential of data to drive business growth and innovation.

Ethical considerations and cybersecurity measures are critical to effectively leverage customer data while maintaining trust and privacy in a digital environment,” he noted.

Technical seminar themed “Promoting Financial Inclusion through Fintech Collaboration” The presentation was moderated by Chipo Mushwana, Head of Emerging Innovation and Payments at Nedbank, who highlighted the transformative role of fintech in extending access to financial services, empowering marginalized groups and supporting SMEs. She stressed the need for strategic collaboration and regulatory coordination to accelerate digital innovation and promote inclusive economic growth. “Africa is at a tipping point in the transformation of financial services,” Mushwana noted. “The opportunities presented by technology will continue to improve livelihoods and economies on the continent. We want to collaborate to drive economic growth, and we want to collaborate to drive financial inclusion. There is a lot of work to be done, and we at Nedbank are committed to getting it done.”
