Roseau, Dominica (TDN)
Less than two weeks after a major road accident that killed five people, another road accident has occurred in Dominica. The deceased was Zara Shaw from Canefield, who was involved in a car accident on Saturday. Shaw was driving on the Edward Oliver Highway, near the village of Kulibistry, when his car, with the registration number TL 566, apparently went off the road and hit a tree. There were no witnesses to the accident, but he appears to have been spotted shortly after the accident. It is believed that Shaw was not wearing a seatbelt as his body was thrown out of the car during the impact.

This has proven to be the deadliest year on the country’s roads in a long time, with several fatalities reported so far this year.
