Eco-cleaning company owner explains how to clean with vinegar
After his favorite T-shirt got stained with ice cream, Chelsea tried various methods to clean it, but nothing worked.

– My son’s shirt had ice cream on it and I tried to remove the stain with all the products I found in the store, such as Vanish, Elbow Grease and Pink Stuff, but nothing worked. Then I asked on Facebook if anyone had any suggestions, since it was about my son’s favorite shirt. Several people told me to put the shirt out in the sun to dry, because they heard that the sun would stain me. I tried it, even though I didn’t believe it would work. I washed the shirt and put it outside to dry. When I went to pick up the shirt, the stain was gone – Chelsea explains.

She was so surprised that the trick actually worked that she now uses it on all the clothes her kids soil.

– If you try it yourself and find that the stain has only faded and not completely disappeared, just wash the shirt again and put it in the sun again. I used this trick even on grass stains and it worked – she adds.
She says she now spends a lot less on cleaning products and recommends the trick to anyone battling tough stains.
