A Hamilton man is facing multiple charges for allegedly trafficking an underage girl in the Greater Toronto Area.

Peel police say the suspect controlled every aspect of the victim’s life and forced her to have sex for money.
Mohammed Karim Mohammed, 31, was charged with trafficking of a person under 18, pimping of a person under 18, obtaining benefit from trafficking, communicating for sexual services, providing sexual services for material benefit, householder permitting sexual activity, assault causing bodily harm and assault with a weapon.
He was detained pending a bail hearing and appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
Investigators believe there may be other victims, particularly in the Greater Toronto Area.

Three wanted for burglary
Toronto police are seeking the public’s help in identifying three suspects in a theft of property from a storage locker in North York on Wednesday.
Police said officers were called to the area of O’Connor Dr. and Sunrise Ave. just after 3 a.m. for a report of a burglary in progress.
It is reported that three suspects came to the complainant’s building and prepared to break in. The suspects then broke into the storage room and subsequently vandalized multiple lockers.

Police said the suspect stole property from a locker and then left the building. The suspect left the scene before officers arrived.
The first suspect is described as a male of medium build, wearing a black hoodie with the hood pulled up, black pants, black and white shoes, a red shirt, a black shoulder bag and a grey mask.

The second suspect is described as a thin male wearing a black baseball cap, a black ski mask, a black crew neck sweater with “VLTN” printed in red letters, black jeans with holes at the knees, black shoes, and carrying a black shoulder bag, a black backpack and a light-colored duffel bag.
The third suspect may be a slim female wearing a black hoodie, a black mask, black sweatpants with a Nike logo, black shoes and a black leather bag.

Man charged with identity theft, car theft
A 28-year-old Toronto man is facing multiple charges after police pulled over the driver of a stolen pickup truck.

Toronto police say the suspect was driving a stolen Ford F-150 in the area of Sentinel Rd. and Finch Ave. W. around 7 p.m. Thursday.
Police said officers were traveling south on Sentinel Road, following the truck, when a license plate reader alerted them it was a stolen vehicle.
Police said officers followed the vehicle until the driver stopped the vehicle. He was then arrested.
After the arrest, the suspect was found with more than $30,000 in cash, a reprogrammed car key remote and identification in someone else’s name, police said.
Desmond Mubarik was charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, illegal purchase of a motor vehicle master key, operating a motor vehicle while license suspended, two counts of possession of identification document of another person and possession of a forged citizenship document.
Investigators believe there may be more victims.
