A man living in Somerset, Kentucky, eventually came up with a radical solution that jacked up the price tag to nearly $200,000.
American Jesse Kipf Decided to avoid paying child support in an unusually harsh manner.
Kipf, 39, came up with a plan to perform his own death.
Kipf, who lives in Kentucky, fraudulently entered the state’s death records and temporarily avoided arrears of $116,000 (about 104,000 euros) in alimony.
Kipf logged into the Hawaii state death registry and confirmed his death with another person’s signature, describing NBC News.
