Janakpur Dham, July 23. The Madhesh government on Tuesday added five state ministers. Among them, Mohammad Jayad Alam from the Communist Party of Nepal (UML)-Unified Marxist-Leninist Party (UML) was appointed as the state minister for physical infrastructure.
Alam is the state assemblyman from Rautahat Constituency 2(a) and was previously the minister for women, children, youth and sports.
Zaid is a first-time cabinet minister and second-time state minister. He first served as the minister for women, children, youth and sports in the Saroj Kumar Yadav-led Jasper government.
He was criticised on social media after his second stint as state minister.
