If a planning application has not yet been finalised, you can also use this service to submit objections or comments in support of the application.

Comments or objections to this listing must be made by August 23, 2024.

Please note that all written statements or comments will be subject to public review and will form part of any proceedings related to the application.

While the standards for submissions may vary for each legislative instrument, in order to give weight to any statements or comments and to facilitate their evaluation by all parties, Identity of interested partiespeople are encouraged to clearly indicate the relationship between their land or buildings and the land under application. If the person making the statement wishes to be considered for participation in any subsequent proceedings, they must demonstrate sufficient interest in the subject matter of the application.

Please note: applications from the Ministry of Environment Food and Agriculture or in which the Ministry is deemed to have a vested interest (as described below) will be treated differently.

Planning Application 24/00878/B (Bride) Applications previously mentioned in the list are applications from the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture (DEFA), or where the department is deemed to have a vested interest. Therefore, DEFA will not decide on the application but will refer it to the Council of Ministers after 21 days. People can view the application or make written representations or comments at DEFA in Murray House. Please ensure that such comments are submitted Before August 23, 2024Any representations or comments received will be forwarded by DEFA to the Office of the Chief Secretary, Cabinet Office, Douglas Government Office, who will then manage the application on behalf of the Council of Ministers.

Appealing a planning decision

Since the last list was published, the following applications have been appealed.

In addition to the above list of planning publications, the following applications are now subject to appeal. The grounds for appeal have been confirmed in the department’s decision on the following planning applications.

In accordance with regulations, details of the application have been forwarded to the Cabinet Office.

Planning Board Public Meetings

The next public meeting of the Planning Committee will be held remotely via Microsoft Teams at 10am on 5 August 2024 in the Ground Floor Meeting Room of Murray House, Havelock Hill, Douglas, Isle of Man.

Copies of the meeting agenda are available from the department at least three business days before the meeting or on the department’s website.

Copies were also distributed to local authorities.

The public and applicants are welcome to attend the meeting.
