In San Estanislao district, San Pedro province, a man murdered his younger brother over a dispute over the distribution of land inherited by his late mother.

The tragic incident took place on Sunday afternoon. During an argument, one of the brothers pulled out a .45 caliber revolver and shot his brother in the chest. The victim, 54-year-old Bernardo Ávalos Almada, died at the scene.
The incident took place at 6000 Defensores del Chaco Street, Third Fraction. The suspect, 57-year-old Aparicio Ávalos Almada, fled to a small forest behind the hotel. However, after a search, police officers from the 19th police station managed to capture him.
Criminology and investigation officers went to the crime scene to find out why the brothers killed each other. Neighbors reported that the brothers had a disagreement over inheritance.
