The gardens of a southern retirement home will be given a facelift thanks to fundraising.
The Southland Residents Comfort Fund was selected by the Co-op from 16 charities to receive a year-long fundraising campaign.
It also received £5,000 through the ‘Winners Share It All’ competition, a national initiative for co-operative members.
The money will be used to upgrade the gardens into a community space for residents and visitors to enjoy.
