Puigdemont and Comin accuse La Reina of ‘delay’ in resolving their amnesty appeals

Puigdemont and Comín’s defence pointed out that the facts reported “undoubtedly constitute disciplinary violations in accordance with the provisions of the Organic Law of the Judiciary”. Boyer recalled that on July 1, the judge declared the corruption amnesty “inapplicable” and that on July 8 and 9, the defense filed several reform appeals, in addition to other appeals that followed. The lawyers also pointed out in their letter that Larena interrupted her vacation the day before Puigdemont was to return to Catalonia.

The lawyer also noted that Larena has not yet addressed appeals filed by the state prosecutor and the prosecutor’s office, two of the supporters of the amnesty application.
