New York, NY, USA, August 26, 2024 /EINPresswire.com/——The fifth generation giant of Korean pop music Zero Foundation 1 (ZB1) returns with their fourth mini-album “CINEMA PARADISE”. After breaking the record for the highest pre-sale volume in K-pop with their debut album and selling over one million copies each of their first three albums, the group returns with a new mini-album three months after the release of their third mini-album “You Had Me at HELLO”.
All tracks on CINEMA PARADISE are inspired by different film genres, with ZEROBASEONE aiming to “permanently capture” the good times they enjoyed with their loyal fans ZEROSE. Musically, CINEMA PARADISE dabbles in various genres including electronic synth-pop, afro-pop, pluggnB and hip-hop. The band continues to explore different aspects of fate and love, two themes that have recurred since their debut album YOUTH IN THE SHADE, but with a more mature style that reflects the experience the band has gained since their first collaboration.

The tracklist contains seven tracks, including the title track “So good it’s a bit bad” as well as “KILL THE ROMEO,” “바다 (The Sea)” (a cover of the popular summer song first released by Korean group UP in 1997), “Insomnia,” “Road Movie,” “Eternity” and “YURA YURA (Korean version)”, the latter being the Korean version of their successful debut album in Japan. The title track “GOOD SO BAD” was produced by renowned K-pop producer KENZIE, who is known for his hits by groups such as Girls’ Generation, EXO and NCT. The electro-synth pop song’s lyrics are sincere and depict the bittersweet feeling of being in love to the point of aching.
While preparing for the release of CINEMA PARADISE, ZEROBASEONE has been working hard to connect with fans around the world. On July 25, the group performed and met with fans at the GRAMMY Museum: Global Spin Live. The group then took the stage at KCON LA 2024, the first time the CW network broadcast it on television. In August, the nine-member group performed at SUMMER SONIC 2024, Japan’s largest urban music festival.
After wrapping up their promotions for CINEMA PARADISE, the group will embark on their first world tour, “2024 ZEROBASEONE THE FIRST TOUR (TIMELESS WORLD)”, which will depart from Seoul, South Korea on September 20, followed by stops in Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Macau, and Japan.

ZEROBASEONE is the first K-pop group to have three consecutive albums (including the debut) sell over a million copies within a week of release. Japan’s Oricon announced this year’s best new artists, and ZEROBASEONE was listed as the best-selling K-pop artist, extending the group’s influence from Korea to the world.
