(CNS): Police and other emergency services responded to a 911 call at approximately 12:14 p.m. Tuesday regarding a single-vehicle collision on South Sound Road near Red Bay Marina. The Cayman Islands Fire Service rescued the lone occupant of the vehicle and transported her to hospital, where she is being treated for what appears to be serious injuries.
The road was temporarily blocked following the accident to allow RCIPS and CIFS officers to investigate. Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the accident.
