My fellow Singaporeans, we face an existential threat, which is exacerbated by the policies of the PAP.
The number of babies born in Singapore in 2023 fell to the lowest level in at least 50 years! In 2023, only 33,541 babies were born, a decrease of 5.8% from 2022 and a decrease of 13.3% from 2022! In 1971, 41,088 babies were born!
Now you see the disastrous policies of Lawrence Wong and the PAP at work. Does it surprise you that the alarming decline in birth rates over the past two years and the disastrous plunge in the total fertility rate to a pitiful 0.97 coincided with the PAP increasing the GST by 2% during Lawrence Wong’s tenure as Finance Minister?
When the Edelman survey showed that 93% of residents suffered from job insecurity anxiety, did the decline in the past two years surprise you?
Does this downward trend surprise you when HDB flats are selling for close to S$1.6 million and even 3-room HDB flats are priced close to S$850,000?
Ask yourself, who will replace us?
Ask yourself, who are you serving by building up such a huge reserve?
