White roses were planted near the house on Kantemirovskaya Street in Moscow, where Yuri Shatunov, the lead singer of the band “Tender May” (died in 2022), lived. The choice of color was determined by the name of one of the hit songs of the 80s sung by the singer, RIA Novosti reported.
“The roses are ground cover plants. Variety Swany. Landed on May 18, 2024. In memory of the honorary resident of the house, Yu.V. Shatunov, Soviet and Russian singer, a legend for generations”, the memorial plaque reads.
