A white alert has been issued for much of the country.
The Met Office has issued a white alert for central and southern provinces. The alert is in place until 7am.
The Met Office said heavy rain with thunderstorms is expected during this period. Winds will be between 19 and 24 mph, with gusts reaching 45 mph in the clouds. Meanwhile, the sea will be rough.
Weather alerts have been issued across the country as monsoon rains continue in the west. Authorities have also advised seafarers to be aware of the weather.
