Albana Vokshi, chairwoman of the commission investigating health concessions, said no meeting took place this week because Socialist representatives were watching the games in Germany.

She also warned of criminal charges against heads of agencies that obstruct the work of the investigative committee.
“The meeting of the sanitary investigation committee did not take place because most of the representatives were not in Albania at all. So going to Germany was more in their interest than in the public interest, in terms of transparency in these two big things, inspection and disinfection.
I also want to tell you that a lot of materials have come from the institutions, but there are a large number of responses from the institutions, and I want to mention the two most important institutions, the Ministry of Health and the Compulsory Health Insurance Fund, which have not provided any responses to the questions or evidence we requested. They are playing ping-pong with each other because we have already addressed issues about contracts and changes to contracts. The fund said I don’t have documents and I don’t have a contract. We were told to contact the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Health told us that the fund has responded.
