From time immemorial we have been preparing for the gifts of heaven, seeking to be placed at the right hand of God to spend a glorious afterlife with all the saints and angels.
All we do is to save our souls, hoping to find shelter in heaven, which is our next home after we leave or destroy this one, but we take the present life for granted and ignore the signs of the times.
The Earth is rebelling against the numerous exploitations of its mineral resources, which have altered our atmosphere, and despite the damage we cause, it is mainly to satisfy our greed and pursuit of worldly gain, where we pretend that our needs are greater than dealing with the causes or problems.
The rivers are drying up, the storms are getting more intense, the heat is unbearable, the food is becoming more and more contaminated, our reactions to each other are horrific, and the grand plan to destroy humanity is right before our eyes, yet we turn a blind eye.
The so called money making giants of this world are all doing their best to make the most profit, selling as many weapons as possible, stirring up conflicts, providing drugs to stay afloat, selling poisonous food, poisoning the atmosphere, while in the chaos and confusion and our separated spiritual connections, it is easy for a few to prosper.
At every level, we have become buyers, we keep buying everything we imagine we want, our cars and houses are considered too small, our homes require artificial BroadCast Unitedligence, our needs are met at the touch of a button, everyone wants to travel the world, live like the Joneses, and live a different life from their neighbors and those who are less fortunate.
We live stressful lives right now and unfortunately, we have lost ourselves and our sanity in this self-imposed modern slavery.
This great book asks: “What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul?”
Our humanity and values have been damaged, our love for our land and our fellow men has been destroyed, and we are now each other’s worst enemies.
We fight each other like barbarians, we enjoy the thrill of subjugation and oppression, in fact, some of us are masters of the art of deception, as we all sell our souls to the highest bidder in a country where money comes first and common sense comes second.
Our human status has become animalistic in every way, logic or humanity no longer exists as the buzzwords are “destroy at all costs”, “kill the opposition”, “get rid of the stable thinker or preacher” and “madness trumps salvation”.
The real history or facts of our existence and the exploits of our colonial masters and international well-wishers remain hidden from us, our education remains selective to avoid rebellion, our lives are calculated, censored and monitored.
We either conform to the state or the system or become its enemy, so we always need to act with caution or we perish.
We have become blamers – in other words, we pass the buck, always blaming others for our predicament, all because the government “didn’t implement certain measures”, “didn’t enforce the law enough”, “didn’t have vision or new ideas…” We never take responsibility for our own non-participation or lack of participation in the process because we are always looking for excuses as long as the blame isn’t directed at ourselves.
We ensure divisions of class, religion, social status, education and politics, we think everyone should be IT savvy; we still say ‘Long live the King’, we still look to America and Europe as our eternal saviors because many of us are too blind to see or accept our reality.
In other words, we are the world, but we are also the ones who destroy the world and kill each other, and yet we never see it, never know it, never do it.
