She died on Sunday, July 28, at the Dominican-China Friendship Hospital.
She is the mother of four daughters, Jenney, Sandra, Natoya and Annes, and four sons, Junior, Jerry, Devon and Asa.
She will also be remembered by: adopted daughter – Resha Laurent;
3 brothers: Vrino, Peter and Paris of Guadeloupe;
nephews: Hendrix, Eustace, Neville, Richie, Frankie and Evans;
niece: Ermine Laurent of France;
grandchildren: Zendaya, Omarion, Zyane, Shannara, Semira, Kyle and Fiona of America;
great-nieces: Shervanah, Shermina and Amira;
great-nephews: Shervan, Shannon, Shervon, Miguel, Jason, Brandon and Niel;
daughter-in-law: Jenn Newton of the United States;
sons-in-law: Albert Hector and Miguel Woodman;
sisters-in-law: Lucy, Jonah, Josien, Maudry and Jenny;
brothers and sisters: Edmund, Jerome, Joseph, Francois and Richard;
numerous cousins, including: Martha, Editha, Cornelia, Dorothy and Deandra;

The body of the late Jeanette Newton Nee’ Laurent will be taken from Lyndhurst Funeral Home to the Castle Bruce Pilgrim Holiness Church for viewing on Tuesday, August 20 at 2:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM with burial to follow in the Castle Bruce Cemetery.
