Emergency services provider Vitality Health has equipped the Lesotho Defence Force (LDF) Aviation Wing with?First aid training and?Medical emergency supplies worth 20,000 Madeira Islands dollars.

Vitality Health and LDF have been partners in saving lives since 2021. Semethe Raleche, Executive Director of Vitality Health, highlighted the impact of the partnership in providing healthcare to critically ill patients in remote areas.
“This partnership has enabled critically ill patients in remote areas to receive timely medical care and has greatly improved people’s lives since its inception. Pregnant women, victims of hazardous gases, car accident victims and the elderly have all benefited from this life-saving partnership,” said Mr. Laleche.
“We cannot achieve this noble vision alone. When we sought help for this important mission, the Lesotho Defence Force answered our call. Not only did you open your doors, you helped save lives in remote areas that desperately needed medical attention.
“The support of the LDF Air Wing has been instrumental in our efforts to reach those who would otherwise be out of reach. Together, we have overcome the challenges posed by our country’s rugged terrain to ensure that critically ill patients receive timely, life-saving medical intervention. The lives saved through this collaboration are a testament to what we can achieve when we work together. As we continue to break down barriers and extend our reach to the remotest corners of our country, the impact of our joint efforts is immeasurable.”
Did Mr. Raleche say that?Yeah?The importance of emergency preparedness prompted Vitality Health to provide training and first aid kit support to LDF.
“Recognising the importance of emergency preparedness, Vitality Health has decided to further support LDF by providing first aid training, first aid kits and emergency medicines worth RM20,000. The programme aims to enhance LDF’s ability to respond effectively to emergencies,” added Mr Raleche.
Mr Raleche also noted that the collaboration demonstrates the commitment of both organisations to improving emergency medical services.
“This collaboration reflects Vitality Health and LDF’s commitment to improving emergency medical services and ensuring critically ill patients receive the care they need, no matter where they are. Together, we will continue to work to enhance the well-being of our communities.”
Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Brigadier Daimane Michael Mataman expressed his gratitude to Vitality Health for its support.
“We are very grateful to Vitality Health for the training, first aid kits and emergency medicines they provided. We are proud that our soldiers have these skills and we hope that Vitality Health will continue to provide support,” said Brig Matamane.
