Burkina Faso is preparing to welcome from August 6 to 10, 2024, a team from the Russian ROSATOM agency, which is responsible for supporting the country of integrity in the construction of its first nuclear power plant.
The visit coincides with my country’s role as Vice-President of the 68th General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which is scheduled to be held in Vienna, Austria from September 16 to 20, 2024.
This high honour is the highest recognition for the energy sector’s efforts to achieve the vision of His Excellency the President of Faso, to ensure the energy sovereignty of Burkina Faso through a nuclear solution.
