Vinicius has Jairan Mitchell’s nightmares, satirizes cartoon portal

Costa Rican defender Jeran Mitchell has had a great time since the Copa America kicked off in the United States. A well-known cartoon portal has described him as a nightmare for Brazilian star Vinicius Junior.

In the cartoon, Brazil and Real Madrid take an elevator to the floor where the Americas trophy and the Ballon d’Or are located, and as they rise they are flanked by figures who have performed better in the competition, such as Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.

The Costa Rican defender became infamous during the tournament, completely neutralizing the Canarinha striker in Costa Rica’s first match against Brazil (0-0). The animator showed Mitchell holding a chainsaw and Vinicius in tears.

The former Alajuelens player managed to secure promotion to the Dutch league by signing with Feyenoord. The transfer marks the hedgehog’s second historic sale, with the European side shelling out $2.5 million.

Brazil did not perform well in football and failed to reach the final. This Sunday, the Americas Championship will be played between Argentina and Colombia.
