New Delhi: Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Sunday criticised the Narendra Modi government over the latest Unified Pension Scheme (UPS) and said the ‘U’ in UPS represents the frequent inconsistency of the Modi government.
The Congress leader shared a post on his official account X, saying that after June 4, the power of the people had triumphed over the arrogance of the prime minister’s authority.
“The ‘U’ in UPS represents a U-turn in policy by the Modi govt! After June 4, people power triumphed over the PM’s arrogant power. Cut the budget on long term capital gains/indexation. Send the Waqf Bill to the JPC. Cut the Broadcasting Bill. Cut lateral entry,” the post read.
