In the town of Gambella, residents said people were killed in clashes that began last week on Sunday night and continued into Monday.
On the other hand, the local government’s Peace and Security Office informed VOA that the conflict resulted in two deaths and four injuries.
The primary and referral hospitals in Gambella town told VOA they are treating people injured in the clashes and that one person has died.
