Libreville, Tuesday, June 25, 2024 (Gabon News) – As part of his tour of the Republican Central Ogué province, the President of the Transition, General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, went to the Ayon site, where he went directly to the laying of the first stone of the future university center of Lambaréné, as it was announced during discussions with local residents.

The center, initially intended to relieve congestion in existing universities, will specialize in training for digital careers. The construction will take place over an area of ​​17 hectares and will take twenty-six (26) months. The Head of State then inspected the site of the new fire station, which will take place over an area of ​​1.5 hectares and will take nine (09) months.

The building will be there to fill the housing shortage for the firefighters assigned to Lambaréné. The site includes: a sports field, a garage, an R+1 administrative building. There are 42 soldiers (26 men and 16 women).

The head of state then visited the CTRI city, which is located on the site of the former Albert Schweitzer Hospital and consists of 12 fully equipped villas.
