Kathmandu, July 25. The Public Procurement Inspectorate has blacklisted two dozen contractor companies.
The blacklisted companies include Dehradun-based Bharat Construction, with Rajiv Garg as the main figure, which was recommended for blacklisting by the Road Supervision and Monitoring Office of the Road Department of the Gaighat Diktel Road Project in Udaipur. Based on the same recommendation, the Office of Public Procurement Inspection under the Prime Minister’s Office has blacklisted it for three years.
Other companies blacklisted include Siddhi Sai Prakash Construction Pvt Ltd Kshetrapati, Devnarayan Pawan/Mainachuli/Khampache JV Sifal, Adventure Construction Pvt Ltd Chitwan, Jayabageshwar Mata Construction Pvt Ltd Nepalgunj, Barah Construction Services and Subas Construction Services Surkhet.
If the work is not satisfactory, the company is blacklisted. During the blacklist period, such companies are not allowed to participate in any procurement process of public institutions.
