For some Finns, life in Russia is just business as usual.

According to the Finnish Poultry Association, there are more than 2,500 known species of Salmonella.

Central and southern Europe were warmer than usual in late August, including Finland, where the warm weather is expected to continue until early September, forecasters said.

The temperature in Finland is higher than usual for this time of year. Sanomat Helsinki Reports say warm weather will be expected on Thursday and Friday.

However, it will be wet as forecasters predict showers this weekend.

In early September we will have more summer-like weather as an area of high pressure is expected to form over the North Atlantic, occasionally reaching Finland and bringing warm air with it.
