Usha Vance was born into an Indian immigrant family with a strong legal background and rich Indian cultural values. Usha grew up in a suburb of San Diego, California and has been an academic ace her whole life. She received her BA in History from Yale University and her MA in Philosophy from Cambridge University. She currently works as a corporate litigator at a law firm in San Francisco.
The couple has three children together, including two sons, Ewan and Vivek, and a daughter, Mirabel. JD Vance and Usha Vance met in 2013 while studying at Yale Law School and their relationship blossomed into marriage.
