Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has compared his looks to Kamala Harris. The 78-year-old said at a campaign event in Pennsylvania that his Democratic rival is said to have an advantage because of her attractiveness, adding: “I look much better than she does. I think I look better than Kamala.”
Trump commented on the Democrat’s laughter, calling it “the laughter of a crazy person.” This isn’t the first time the Republican has discussed Harris’s appearance or attacked women in this way. In the past, he has often used the word “crazy” to describe opposing politicians – such as Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton during the 2016 campaign. Regarding Harris, Trump said he was asked not to call her a “crazy person.” “But she is. A crazy person,” the former president said.
Trump has promised his supporters, among other things, to cut taxes and redirect climate protection funds to infrastructure. He hopes to lower energy prices by doubling down on fossil fuels.
