Trnava: The Autonomous Region of Trnava (TTSK) has announced a competition for regional bus transport services in the Dunajská Streda and Galanta regions. The deadline for submitting bids is September 11 at 10 am. This is according to the information published in the Gazette of the Public Procurement Office (ÚVO).
“The subject of the contract is the provision of regional bus transport services for the public interest in the Autonomous Region of Trnava and the provision of transport services in the Duna Streda transport area,” the tender notice said. The contract will run from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2028. The contracting authority also reserves the right to reduce the scope of the contract to the Duna Streda area as of January 1, 2028.
The expected value of the order is €36 million. “The calculation is based primarily on the public contracting authority’s own experience and contracts, which were fulfilled in the previous period,” TTSK explained. It is the product of the cost price per tariff kilometer and the total number of tariff kilometers derived from the schedule. The contract subject will be financed from the public contracting authority’s own resources.
