The people of the area along the Kachar River live in hell. They are subjected to all kinds of crimes and are often caught in tribal clashes. Two weeks ago, a group of people from the Bugti tribe of Kalpal attacked the Shahr tribe and killed ten tribesmen, apparently in revenge. A few days ago, a group of thugs belonging to the Sundarani tribe shot and killed a man from the Savand tribe, who later died of his injuries. To create fear and increase tension, they even uploaded a video on social media in which the man was lying on the ground with serious injuries. Moreover, every other day, there is news of kidnapping, followed by a high ransom demand.
It is despairing that the Government and law enforcement agencies have left the people living in the Kacha area at the mercy of criminals and tribal leaders. This situation calls for resolute action by the relevant authorities to restore peace in the Kacha area so that the local population can live in peace.
