A new poll of Conservative Party members shows that the party is deeply divided over the prospect of a merger with Reform UK.
Queen Mary University of London and the University of Sussex conducted a poll of 725 Conservative Party members to find out how they would vote in the upcoming leadership contest.

Today’s poll also found Ms Badenoch is the most popular candidate among members at this stage, followed by Suella Braverman and Tom Tugendhat.
After removing “none of the above” and “don’t know”, Ms Badenoch had 31 per cent support, followed by Ms Braverman at 16 per cent and Mr Tugendhat at 15 per cent.
