Tonga will be the 187th country to participate in the Parade of Nations at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics. The parade will feature athletes arriving by boat along the Seine, a first for a Summer Olympics.

Greece will lead the parade, marking its historic ties to the Olympics, while host France will close the event. The parade includes 203 participating nations, with athletes from Russia and Belarus excluded because of the war in Ukraine.

The opening ceremony will take place at 7:24am on July 27, Tonga local time, providing a fantastic start to the much-anticipated Olympic Games.
