Sri Lankan Ambassador to Pakistan Ustaz Mohammad Taha today presented his credentials to President Asif Ali Zardari.
The ceremony was held at President Aiwan Sadr’s office in Islamabad.
After the handover ceremony, Taha met with Pakistani President Dr. Mohammad Muezzul and the people of Dhaka extended their best wishes to the Pakistani President.
The Ambassador assured that he would remain committed to further strengthening the long-standing friendship between the two countries. He thanked him for arranging the delivery of the letter at an early date.
The Pakistani President congratulated him on his appointment as ambassador and assured the Dhaka government of his cooperation in further strengthening the existing relations between the two countries.
