Three people have been arrested in connection with the kidnapping case in the city.
The case of a Druvi man being held hostage in a house in the city was reported early yesterday, police said.
Three Indians were arrested in connection with the incident. A 22-year-old man, a 27-year-old man and a 30-year-old man were arrested.
They were produced in court and ordered to be remanded in custody for 10 days.
Police said this week they were investigating the abduction of two people from a bird cage.
Meanwhile, three men accused of kidnapping a man and cutting off his fingers were remanded in custody earlier this month.
