In the 20th parliamentary election, the People’s National Committee won 66 seats out of 93 constituencies, and the opposition Democratic Party won 12 seats. MDA won 2 seats, MNP 1, JP 1 and independents 11.
Candidates backed by the Adalat Party, the Democratic Party and former President Yameen did not win a single seat.
