Bolivar Airlines (BAER) has announced the imminent resumption of commercial operations at the “Teniente Coronel Andrés Salazar Marcano” airport on Coche Island.
Aerocaribe will cover the Caracas-Coche-Caracas route. BAER confirmed this information through its account. Instagrammarking the return of a scheduled flight to that destination.
Tourism Minister Ari Padrón, Air Transport Undersecretary Freddy Borges and BAER President Enzo Puglisi Denisco inspected the airport facilities. The visit was aimed at verifying the readiness for reopening and ensuring compliance with the necessary standards.
The reopening of the airport terminal has the potential to stimulate the local economy on Coche Island.
