Diosdado Cabello, first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), criticized Edmundo González for not appearing at the summons of the Supreme Court (TSJ) to advance the process of certifying the official election results, calling it “cowardice”, on the show “Con el Mazo Dando”.

“This is a murderer (…) Where is he?” Cabello said, referring to González. Likewise, the Chavez leader added that the extremist opposition has begun to accept its defeat in the July 28 presidential election. “They are moving from sadness to acceptance of defeat.”

“They’re digesting what they lost, and they’re digesting what we won. Chavismo won,” Cabello continued. “Let’s see if they can learn something, if they can finally learn something at the end of the curve, although I doubt it because they’ve been doing this for 25 years. “They have very poor learning capacity,” he said.

Cabello also congratulated “all those who had the courage to stand up, to declare, and not be afraid of imperialism. “We also salute those who are afraid of imperialism.” He believes there is a clear difference between those who face up to so-called foreign influences and those who, in his opinion, shrink from them.

“When the imperialists see them, they will cower, just to remind you that they are coming to get you now. “Continue to accompany imperialism, believing that it is your friend,” he said.
