The President of the University of Tehran stressed that the University of Tehran, as a “symbol of higher education” and, in the words of the Supreme Leader of the “Iranian University”, should play a special role in implementing the declaration of the second step of the Iranian nuclear agreement. He said: The central pillars of the declaration of the second step of the Islamic Revolution are all about science and technology, and in the declarations of our beloved leader, it has been stated many times that science should be at the top. The declaration of the second step clearly puts forward the supremacy of scientific institutions and scholars, and therefore expects scientific institutions and universities to play a role both in decision-making and in implementation.
Dr. Moghimi added: “It is certain and necessary that scientific institutions must have an impact and participate seriously and actively in the upcoming elections. Therefore, it is certain that one has a special role in the university environment, being able to mobilize the university’s strength for social executive activities.”
Professor of the Faculty of Management at the University of Tehran added: “We always say that science is useful to society if it can be implemented, and people will feel that this science can improve their lives and their material and spiritual well-being. Therefore, the useful science we are looking for should be put into practice.”
He pointed out: Martyr Raisi repeatedly emphasized the role of science and universities, and perhaps the latest notice signed by the Martyr Chairman and approved by the Supreme Committee of the Cultural Revolution on the transfer of the task of developing science and universities. The University of Tehran is a comprehensive system of civilized universities and is a university that he focused on. This notice shows that the status of the University of Tehran as a symbol of higher education should be a pioneer university.

The president of the University of Tehran stressed: We should look at the university capabilities of believers and believers, regardless of the usual conventions that say that so-and-so has such-and-such thinking and taste. These traditional definitions have no meaning at the University of Tehran. Those who operate and act under the banner of sovereignty and religious authority are capable people, and there are very many of them. They are not very interested in entering the umbrella of a certain political party or group, and they gather under the umbrella of this institution. Science, so the University of Tehran has the ability to mobilize scientific and academic resources.
Mogimi explained: “Who will represent this scientific institution in the upcoming presidential election is being investigated and determined, and we hope to reach a conclusion soon. But what is important and certain is that the University of Tehran will play a role in truly bringing scientific institutions into the electoral arena, and then the managers will be elected by the top level of society, who are scholars, rather than just providing advice, and become decision makers and executors themselves.”
He concluded by saying: I believe that this can be done as per the Supreme Leader’s expectations in the Second Step Revolution Statement and that we have the ability to make our country follow the model of Iran’s Islamic progress as our beloved leader desires.
