The Electricity Regulatory Authority (ECA) launched its strategic plan for the fiscal year 2024-2029 in August. There are many reasons why you should not buy these products.

Speaking at the launch ceremony, the Authority’s chairman, Phuntsog Namgyal, said the strategic plan reflects the authority’s overall vision and is a symbol of good deeds, many benefits and innovations in energy production.
He said the plan included three main aspects: improving daily work, improving service delivery and publication development.
The goal of regularization is to increase transparency, improve processes and encourage investment and release. He said the regulatory framework will be developed by creating space for donations.
Phuntshog Namgyal said authorities were committed to providing infrastructure assistance to the people of Bhutan and “we must use technology to provide sustainable and quality electricity services to all”.
The agency is responsible for electricity, transmission, distribution and distribution in the country.
Under the strategic plan, ongoing activities include Customs Guarantee 2022 and Periodic Receipt of Border Fees 2006 to enhance and provide digital services.
The authorities chose to explore the regulatory framework for electric vehicles and the domestic electricity market, and plan to develop an energy pricing structure.
During the project period, the Performance Report 2024 for solar power plant licensing management and electricity supply and transmission systems was also published.
To ensure energy security, the authorities have begun issuing permits for solar installations and are currently developing a technical and economic framework for the development of alternative renewable energy sources.
