I refer to the news in The Singapore Independent, “Calling on Singaporeans to support Xu Shunquan’s coffee shop regardless of political leanings” (July 16).
The fundamental purpose of doing any business is to ensure that the business is viable and profitable. Otherwise, there is no point in taking risks.
It is natural for any entrepreneur to spare no efforts or efforts to invest energy and come up with attractive promotional methods to market his/her business services in order to achieve business goals and increase business revenue.
Orange and Teal Café by Dr. Xu Shunquan is no exception. Dr. Xu Shunquan promotes his café as a friendly family gathering place and a peaceful restaurant serving delicious food.
In short, Orange and Teal cafe must achieve operating profit to survive and continue to operate. In this regard, Dr Chee has been trying his best to maintain this route since 2006.

In fact, many Orange and Tael customers often see Dr. Chee personally visiting his restaurant to entertain customers and personally talk and interact with them.
