The Social Security Commission (SSC) this week launched a customer service charter and anti-fraud hotline.

The Charter is a blueprint for delivering high-quality and timely services to stakeholders and defines the services and products provided by the Commission. The Charter is reviewed regularly to ensure that SSC’s services remain relevant and meet the evolving needs of its clients and all beneficiaries.

The hotline is designed to provide a safe environment to address any concerns related to fraudulent activity.

Chairman of the Board, Dr. Dawid /Uirab, stressed the importance of these initiatives at the launch ceremony, saying that the hotline evolved from the anti-fraud policy developed and adopted by the SSC. “By providing a platform to report suspicious activities, it not only protects the integrity of our organization but also the trust our members have in us,” he said.

Namibians can report any misconduct by SSC personnel by calling the hotline 0800 66 66 66.

“Through increased accountability and vigilance, our goal is to safeguard the funds entrusted to us and maintain the highest standards of governance,” he said.

SSC executive officer Milka Mongonda urged the organization’s employees to perform their duties in accordance with the two initiatives to provide quality services to customers. “While we celebrate these initiatives, it remains our responsibility to uphold them in order to become better employees and serve the nation,” she said.
