Sri Lanka and China’s Sichuan Province will hold a trade and investment meeting.
The meeting is scheduled to take place next month. Therefore, the opportunity to participate ends on the 18th of this month.
Key discussion points at the meeting:
* Agriculture
* Fruit and vegetable suppliers
* Food manufacturing, processing and export supply business
* Consumer goods and wholesale trade
* Tourism sector
A six-member delegation led by Zhu Chunxiu, vice chairman of the Sichuan Provincial People’s Congress Standing Committee, is also scheduled to arrive next month to prepare for the meeting, the economy ministry said.
The main purpose of the visit was to discuss expanding trade relations between Sichuan Province and Sri Lanka.
