British model Chloe Lopez’s bizarre ‘treasure hunt’ using her underwear has caused a huge reaction in Spain.
The final straw seemed to be Lopez’s decision to place a pair of her underwear next to a loaf of bread in a supermarket oven.
In the video from the Mercadona supermarket chain, Lopez can be seen removing her pink underwear and placing it next to a loaf of bread as a stunned customer looks on.
In other videos posted to her Instagram account, the British model does similar things in her underwear in other public places.
After the videos were released, Spaniards called on authorities to intervene. “If we caught you in the supermarket, we would drag you through all the aisles by your hair,” they wrote to her. As angry commentators have suggested, Lopez’s move to the supermarket is a public health risk.
However, she seemed undeterred and could be heard saying in another Instagram video: “I’ll be back and leaving a small ‘donation’ at the hot dog place before I leave.”
A representative of the supermarket chain that was “vandalized” by Lopez said: “We are aware of this incident. Our lawyers have been informed of this matter and will decide how to deal with it.”
