The fire at a Moscow refinery has been localized, the mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin announced in his Telegram channel. The mayor of the capital stressed that there is no threat to people or the operation of the plant.
Earlier, the press office of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry in the capital reported the details of the factory fire. According to rescuers, the fire scene was calm and posed no threat to personnel or factory operations.
Earlier reports said a fire at a Moscow refinery was caused by a downed drone; the fire was classified as level two complexity.
Last night, the Ministry of Defense’s air defense forces shot down more than 10 drones approaching the capital in the Leninsky, Ramensky, Odintsovo districts, as well as the Stupino and Podolsk districts. According to preliminary statistics, there were no casualties or property damage at the site of the drone crash. Emergency services are already at the scene.
