One of Hudson County’s largest retail complexes is planning to welcome a slew of new restaurants in the coming months, with major brands including Shake Shack, Dave’s Hot Chicken and more set to come to Secaucas.
Construction is underway on several storefronts at 700 Plaza Drive inside Harmon Meadow Plaza. The outdoor-focused shopping center signed a total of seven leases earlier this year, including a 3,200-square-foot lease for Shake Shack.
The brand, which was founded in 2004 in New York City’s Madison Square Park, offers traditional burgers, mushroom burgers, hot dogs and fried chicken sandwiches, as well as crinkle fries and a rotating menu of milkshakes. Earlier this year, they expanded their presence in the Garden State with the opening of a Drive-Thru Locations Located in North Brunswick.

Elsewhere in Harmon Meadow Plaza, Dave’s’ Hot Chicken is set to open in a 2,205-square-foot space. The Los Angeles-based brand Opened They opened their first Garden State location in Wayne two years ago and have won over diners with their Nashville-style spicy chicken, homemade kale salad, creamy mac and cheese, and cheese fries.

Maryland-based Cava has begun renovations on its 3,000-square-foot space, which will focus on Mediterranean cuisine and offer a variety of modern, customizable dishes. Cava diners can choose from 50 fresh and prepared ingredients, and the restaurant already has outpost Exchange Place on the Hudson River.
Speaking of Jersey City, perhaps one of their best-kept secrets is also making its way to Secaucus. KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot signed a lease for 8,870 square feet of space in Harmon Meadow and will be bringing their in-person, all-you-can-eat experience to the complex.
KPOT offers diners a variety of soup options, as well as Kobe beef, chicken, vegetables, seafood, tofu, and more.
Other restaurants that have moved into the Secaucus facility include the 1,354-square-foot TSAoCAA, a bubble tea shop that recently opened Opened in Jersey City. Another business, Haute Dolce Crepes, leased 963 square feet of space in the complex.
The upcoming restaurant will join other well-known restaurants including Carnagie Diner & Café in New York City, Opened Inside the 2022 Harmon Meadow Plaza.
