Known for his explosive batting and bubbly personality, Dhawan’s switch to LLC marks a new chapter in his already illustrious career.The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has banned cricketers who have not officially retired from playing in any other league other than the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Dhawan expressed his feelings about joining Legends Cricket League (LLC) in a statement on Monday, saying, “Joining Legends Cricket League to start a new chapter feels like an ideal progression after my retirement. My body is still adjusting to the demands of the game and while I feel comfortable with my decision, cricket is an integral part of my life and it will never leave me. I am eager to reunite with my cricket friends, continue to entertain my fans and create new memories together.”
