A series of roads on the island will be closed overnight.
Douglas, Laxey and Castletown seafront promenades and coast paths It will be closed from midnight until 4 a.m. Thursday.
In Ramsey, West Quay, Market Square, East Street, Christian Street, West Street and Derby Road will close at 10pm tonight and reopen at 4am the following morning.
Vehicles are currently prohibited from using the road due to a yellow weather warning issued by the Meteorological Bureau in Ronaldsway.
During the river closure period, towns and cities will take flood prevention measures.
