The Serbian government announced that at today’s meeting, the Serbian government adopted an amendment to the decision on the temporary ban on the import of wood pellets, extending the temporary import ban for another 90 days.

Tanjug reported that the decision to revise was made because the confusion in the pellet market has not been resolved.

At its meeting in April this year, the Serbian government, at the initiative of the Ministry of Energy, adopted a decision on a temporary ban on the import of wood pellets.

The decision took effect on April 13 and was valid for 90 days, and was originally scheduled to expire on July 13.
