Workshops will be held to promote tourism in Andhra Pradesh’s southernmost cities, Puducherry and Hooghly.
The Ministry of Tourism said the seminar will be named the 2024 Southern Tourism Development Seminar.
The seminar, scheduled to be held on the 12th of this month, will bring together stakeholders and industry experts involved in the further development of tourism in the region.
The aim of the workshop was to bring together relevant stakeholders and experts in the field to discuss how to increase tourist arrivals in the region by focusing on international connectivity in Andhra Pradesh, Puducherry and Hooghly.
This will identify the challenges facing the development and expansion of tourism in the South and identify possible measures and efforts to facilitate the government’s formulation of short- and medium-term plans to implement these plans.
