Assignment Title: Choose a personal consultant to provide building condition survey consultancy services

Saint Lucia has received financing from the World Bank for a project to develop its renewable energy sector and intends to use part of the proceeds for consultancy services.

The Consulting Services (“Services”) consist of a condition survey of selected buildings within a proposed distance from the civil and drilling works site.

The consultant is expected to work full time within 3 months.

The Department of Infrastructure, Ports and Transport now invites qualified consultants (“Consultants”) to express their interest in providing services. Interested Consultants should provide information to demonstrate that they have the necessary qualifications and relevant experience to provide the services. The entry criteria are as follows:

1. Education requirements

Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.

2. Experience, knowledge, skills and abilities required

In addition, the successful candidate must possess the following experience, knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience conducting building condition surveys, analyzing related data and information, and preparing reports. Experience in building structural design and engineering.

Consultants will be selected in accordance with the individual consultant selection method set out in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for Investment Project Financing Borrowers – November 2020.
